STONY KNOLL NEWS Thgi^hristimis holidays are be peacefully. Many friends and relatives have visited among us. Hofhe for the holiday season are Jerry Lee Mills, William Carson and Franklin Davenport from A & T College, Greensboro; Miss Evelyn F. Davenport from Colum bia, S. C.; Miss Elizabeth Daven port, Woods Morgan College, School of Beauty Culture, Char- • lotte and Miss Helen Hayden, Charlotte; Mr. and Mrs. Benja min McIntyre of Norfolk, Va.; Miss Ida Lee Gray of Hender sonville. The Sunday school departments sponsored a Christmas^ tree and program, assisted by the Junior Missionary Department, Saturday, Dec. 19. The Children’s Christmas Par ty was given at the Library on Saturday, Dec. 26. The Harmonizing Four of Rock Hill, S. C., rendered a program at Stony Knoll Church, Dec. 27, at 3:39 p. m. Many friends throughout the county witnessed the occasion. Sick in the community are: Mrs. Alice Feagan, Mrs. Emma Hay den and Mrs. Frank Lynch. Mrs. Hayden and Mr. Lynch are pa tients at St. Luke’s Hospital. Stony Knoll Library is wear ing beautiful • new window shades, a.gift.from Mr .and Mrs. J. W Gantt.
